While it can be difficult to accurately describe a large group, the topic will educate on key attributes demonstrated by veterans. - Has been practicing as a vocational rehabilitation counselor at OSC Vocational Systems, Inc. in Tacoma since 2002 providing services to L&I, the Veterans Administration and occasionally for Alaska Workers Compensation, while also doing vocational expert work for the Social Security Administration and personal injury cases
- Has presented at Lorman Seminars for fellow professionals and wrote an article and book review for IARP
- Attended post graduate training in Seattle, WA and became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist before becoming a VRC
- Holds certifications as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Certified Disability Management Specialist
- Specialties include vocational assessments and forensic work
- Undergraduate degree in Religious Studies, University of Calgary; M.A. degree in counseling, Sioux Falls Seminary (formerly North American Baptist Seminary) in Sioux Falls, SD

- M.H.S. degree in rehabilitation counseling, University of Florida, and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC)
Leesa M. Sjolin, MS, CRC

- Began her professional career working as a mental health therapist specializing in anxiety and stress management and utilizing biofeedback in group and individual settings
- After 11 years, she moved into the field of rehabilitation, and has worked for OSC Vocational Systems, Inc. in the Spokane office since 2004 focusing on helping injured persons in a variety of settings including State fund, life care planning, and litigation return to safe and satisfying employment whenever feasible, and striving always to return to the most dignified and independent lifestyle
- She continues to maintain her Mental Health License and also is a Certified Rehabilitation Specialist
- Has the honor of acting as the local manager for a sub-contract with the Veteran's Administration for all of Washington and North and Central Idaho, helping to coordinate work with OSC and VA vocational counselors to assist the VA in their work with service members and veterans providing individual counseling as well as a variety of interest, ability and aptitude testing toward the same goals of education, training, and employment
