Recent changes in the housing market have created increasing demand for rental housing, especially in the affordable market.
The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program provides payments to private landlords who house moderate income residents in their rental housing units. Unlike other housing programs which have been cut in recent years, funding for HCV has increased, but many owners do not understand how to access HCV resources. This OnDemand Webinar provides private landlords, housing developers, nonprofit organizations, lawyers and real estate professionals with practical information on how they can take advantage of this program. We will explain how the HCV program works, program requirements and discusses opportunities to use this program in given the increasing demand for affordable rental housing.
