Affordable Housing: Finance and Development, How to Maximize the Available Resources

Learn how to navigate affordable housing funding, structure deals, ensure compliance, and adapt to evolving funding challenges.

Structuring affordable housing deals with the myriad funding programs involved is a complex undertaking. Often it requires pairing a range of both capital and rental assistance programs together and ensuring compliance with a range of federal requirements. Deal structuring and regulatory compliance can be very challenging. Further, the current funding climate is complicating the picture with looming funding cuts to a range of affordable housing programs. This presentation will help those in the affordable housing industry to understand the core funding programs, their key requirements and how to structure deals involving a range of sources. This seminar will also review likely funding cuts and current litigation in the affordable housing industry. This workshop will leave participants with a current picture of affordable housing funding opportunities and deal structuring possibilities.
