#1 - Growth Indicators
Growth Rate: Growth rates refer to the amount of increase that a specific variable has gained within a specific period. This typically represents the compounded annualized rate of growth of a company’s revenues, earnings and dividends.
Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR): The compound annual growth rate is the mean annual growth rate over a specified period of time longer than one year.
GP Growth Rate: Rate a company’s gross profit changes. Revenue – Cost of Goods Sold = Gross Profit. Current Gross Profit - Prior Gross Profit = Difference in Gross Profit. (Difference in Gross Profit / Prior Gross Profit) x 100 = Gross Profit Growth Rate.
