Identify major issues with smoking discrimination.
Presently, over 40 states have enacted laws that restrict smoking in public places. About half of all states enacted laws that restrict smoking in private work locations. Moreover, many states have enacted laws prohibiting smoking in the indoor portions of bars or restaurants. Furthermore, with the development of e-cigarette and other technologies to use for consuming tobacco and/or nicotine, there may also be State laws or definitions to consider. This white paper reviews different state laws and discusses the importance of making sure you aren't discriminating in the workplace.
