Reporting Structures – Standard and Simplified
Standard Reporting – Who – All entities doing business in Nevada are required to file a Nevada Commerce Tax return. All entities whose annual Nevada Gross Revenue is in excess of $4m must make a full report, calculate liability, and pay the liability with the filing of the Nevada Commerce Tax Return.
Simplified Reporting - Simplified reporting is available for business entities with Nevada Gross Revenue under $4m. Reduced Reporting Requirements –The simplified reporting method allows for omitting the amounts on the lines 1 through 35 on the Commerce Tax return, effectively creating an information return only. Form Requirements – If the simplified method is used, check the “under $4,000,000 declaration” box and complete all fields after line 35, including the “certification of the return” box.
