Amir is an associate in the Financial Services Litigation section with experience in such areas as banking and finance law; complex commercial litigation; bankruptcy and restructuring generally and business reorganizations particularly; creditors' and debtors' rights under federal and state law; and constitutional litigation at the trial and appellate levels. Amir routinely publishes articles on bankruptcy law and federal procedure in scholarly and professional journals.
Prior to attending Harvard Law School, Amir graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in English and Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. Post-graduation, he spent two years in Brownsville, Texas, as a member of Teach for America’s Rio Grande Valley Corps. Having been born and raised in Tel-Aviv, Amir is fluent in Hebrew.

Jason E. Manning is a partner with Troutman Sanders. Jason Manning's practice focuses on financial services litigation, complex commercial litigation, and intellectual property litigation.
Jason represents national banks, mortgage investors, and loan servicers in individual and class action complaints arising under federal and state law. His practice includes litigation defense and compliance advice regarding FDCPA, TILA, FCRA, RICO, RESPA, TCPA, and various state consumer statutes. He has experience responding to CFPB, state Attorney General, and state banking department inquiries.
Jason has represented Fortune 500 companies in trials, hearings, and depositions in contract disputes, business torts, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets. He is licensed to practice in DC, NY, NJ, VA, and WV where his experience includes trials and appeals in state and federal courts, as well as mediation and arbitration.
