OSHA now requires an employer to report an accident that results in a fatality within 8 hours of the accident and an employer is required to report all work related inpatient hospitalizations, amputations, or losses of an eye within 24 hours. This video provided by Julie Pace, will give you the requirements of reporting an accident to OSHA and potential OSHA penalties.Not only do accidents need to be reported to OSHA but they also need to be reported for workers compensation. This video will give you a brief overview of workers compensation and the importance of reporting to the appropriate agency.
