What Records Must Be Kept, Including New Requirements for Veterans and the Disabled

At the end of the day the OFCCP’s Internet applicant rules are all about what your recordkeeping obligations are. You need to know what documents you need to retain and who is going to be included in your analysis of adverse impact. As a general rule most government contractors are subject to a two year record retention obligations. You must keep records of all expressions of interest considered by the employer for a particular position, including those considered via searches. You need to keep records of job seekers contacted about interest in a position.

In this 6-minute video our speaker, Matthew J. Camardella, reviews recordkeeping requirement data management techniques. He also discusses database search information.

Matthew J. Camardella is a Principal in the Long Island, New York office of Jackson Lewis P.C.
