Who is eligible for sick leave and what can it be used for?
Employees can use sick leave for during diagnosis, care, or treatment of an existing condition or preventative care for themselves or a family member. Take note that the definition of a family member is broader than under the Family Medical Leave Act or California Family Rights Act.
