Storm Water Basics

Gain a better understanding of what storm water is and why do we care so much about it. This short 15-minute video will take you through the basics of storm water, why we care so much about it, why storm water permits are required and who needs them.

Storm water is considered one of the most significant sources of surface water pollution in the U.S. There is still a large number of surface waters that don’t meet minimum water quality standards. Pollution on the land can end up in our drinking water, swimming and boating areas and impact fishing and wildlife.
