When starting a new project it is important to analyze your staffing rating. Benchmark your rating against competition and identify the thresholds and what it would take to improve your rating. Gaining insight to project information is vital. Review progress reports and how new processes are functioning. Be sure to inform management as well as keeping your team informed of the progress to keep them engaged. Provide transparency to your staff so they know where they are at and where they need to get to stay on task. And focus on engagement with your staff by having daily or weekly huddles. Offer career ladders and mentors, as well as scholarships and internships to your staff to continue keeping them engaged.
