Dams provide a lot of benefits, water supply, flood control and recreation. Like all infrastructure systems, dams need to be maintained and without proper inspection, maintenance and repair the benefits provided can be lessened; or in the worst case a dam can fail, resulting in loss of life and/or property damage. This video will provide you with a quick review of the responsibilities of a dam owner and the consequences if the dam is not maintained.
