There are steps that can be taken when an Police Officer needs to decide if use of force is necessary. One step is to look at the situation from the third-party perspective. Another step is to ask yourself these four questions, 1) Is there a need for force, 2) Is force relative, 3) Is the damage done by force relative, and 4) Is force being applied in good faith or malice? This video will provide you with a quick review of the steps you can take to make the right choice in use of force situations.
