Legal Implications of Testing Job Applicants

 

What federal laws govern how, when and why we give employment tests?

The laws that govern employment testing include Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. Use of discriminatory employment tests and selection procedures are prohibited by these laws. This video reviews each of these laws, as well as discusses important litigation on employment tests.
