Indemnification clauses in your contracts are an agreement to protect another against loss or harm. Wording is critical in the contract to ensure that you are getting the coverage you want. The more specific you can be in the indemnity clause the better off you will be. If there are limitations to include make sure you know what your state’s requirements are. Any ambiguity is construed against the indemnitee.
