Gain insight on facts and legal issues surrounding challenging a finding.
In some situations, it doesn’t matter who the construction inspector is, you can challenge a finding during the construction inspection. In other situations, for example with a municipal building inspector that has a finding, you may need to look closely at the building plan approval notes and make sure there aren’t any notes that allow for changes to be made at any time that weren’t part of the original plan. This video reviews how to handle these situations and discusses building code and building standards.
