When working with your clients and their financial plan post-retirement you can include some basic estate planning techniques such as estate tax mitigation, which continues to be a potential strategy for those that are ultra-high net worth classification. This entails using an A/B trust strategy or a Credit Shelter Trust. This video reviews estate tax mitigation as an estate planning strategy as well as basis-planning and asset protection.
