What are the elements of a Fair Claims Act Offense?
Under the False Claims Act the defendant must submit a claim to the government that is false or fraudulent knowing of its falsity seeking payment from the Federal treasury and damages may be incurred based upon the claims. This video reviews reverse false claims, penalties under the act, and health care reform and false claims act amendments.
