What is the importance of an indemnification provision?
Subcontractors are often faced with various contract clauses throughout the stages of a project and questions may come up regarding responsibility of the project. Indemnification provisions in the contract will pass on liability or responsibility for a claim brought by a third party to the contracting party who is responsible for the harm. This video reviews considerations during contract negotiations to compare scope of indemnity and defense obligations against insurance policies and discusses when an insurer has a duty to defend of professional services provider.

- On the American Arbitration Association Panel of Construction Arbitrators, a member of the Roster of Mediators, and the New Jersey Superior Court Roster of Mediators, where she has mediated a variety of civil matters
