How do peer reviews improve health care?
Peer review, in general, is the process by health care providers only to evaluate care for purposes of quality improvement. Documents generated by the peer review committee shall be privileged if used by peer review committee only for purposes of quality improvement. The presence of insurance, administration or non-health care professionals within a peer review setting will destroy privilege. This video reviews peer review and common misunderstandings.
