Consumer information or consumer privacy issues are at risk. Big data collects all sorts of information on consumers or constituents including names, addresses, and in some cases social security numbers, banking information, etc. Faulty use of data is a huge risk and you want to make sure that you aren't using data incorrectly. When collecting this huge amount of information, the question to ask is how do you harness it to get the information that you need and avoid duplicate information and other pitfalls. This video reviews shallow data, data bias and making incorrect assumptions about data and discusses when used correctly, the endless possibilities that data analytics can provide.
