- More than 25 years of experience in consulting engineering and brings a multi-disciplinary background to project work that enables him to see the big picture of what will be needed to take a project from start to finish
- Skilled in geotechnical engineering, environmental disciplines including NEPA and 404 compliance, works extensively with private developers, energy industry, architects, municipalities and government agencies
- Conducts periodic seminars and presentations on MS4 development and project case studies and is on the WVDEP Storm Water Manual Advisory Committee and the WVUIT Civil Engineering Advisory Board
- A West Virginia Land Trust Volunteer
- Volunteered his time and knowledge to assist with the Greater Charleston Greenway Initiative, writing the analysis section of the report and peer-reviewing the entire document
- Volunteers with the Riverside South Committee, which works with the Charleston Land Trust to beautify and improve pedestrian access on the south side of the Kanawha River
