This course will discuss personal and organizational leadership. It starts with an examination of what you'll lead: a nonprofit organization and the meaningful differences between nonprofits and businesses. Then the material moves from internal staff leadership to leadership in your finances and programs. These are tied together through a discussion of your nonprofit as a recognized leader in your community for the mission you serve. You will be given an integrated view of nonprofit leadership and, with that, a blueprint of how to move from a well-intended group to a recognized authority in your mission specialty.
