Creative thinking is the process by which one considers situations from a different perspective, seeking to understand the problems, developing innovative solutions, and creating a culturally aware workplace. Being a creative thinker involves trying to find new ways to approach existing solutions and identifying new problems in the workplace. It allows one to form connections between concepts and find similarities between vastly different situations to prevent future problems. Even though it may sound as if creative thinking is prominent in the artistic world, it also has a key role in developing new technologies and leveraging businesses. Many jobs now require creative thinking to problem solve. It has several benefits for business, such as building confidence, developing knowledge, releasing stress, and promoting emotional intelligence. In this presentation, we will also look at convergent and divergent thinking and how an organization finds the right balance.
