Developing and Reviewing Baseline Schedules for Construction Projects

Learn to develop a complete and comprehensive baseline schedule that complies with contractual requirements.

With the new infrastructure bill, the amount of construction across the country is about to explode. More funding means more projects. And with that, the chances of a project going bad and ending up with delays also increases. The only tool we have on construction projects to help prevent delay-related claims is the project schedule. Thus, having a fundamental understanding of how to develop and review a baseline schedule will help you and your teams be prepared for dealing with this explosion in construction work and mitigate the potential risk of delays.
This course will instruct those on the contractor side on how to develop a complete and comprehensive baseline schedule that also complies with contractual requirements, along with explaining the importance of doing so. On the flip side, the course will also provide those on the owner's side with the tools to review a baseline schedule submission effectively to not only get a schedule that complies with the contract but also puts the contractor and the project in the best position to succeed.
