Managing Construction Projects - Project Planning and Delivery

Most references to construction delivery methods describe one of the following most popularly used forms of construction: "Design-Bid-Build," "Design-Build," and "Construction Management at Risk," "Construction Management as Agent," or "EPC." There are, of course, numerous variations of these methods, but most projects involve one
of these five methods. Each is regarded as having certain advantages and disadvantages as compared to the others. Before determining which delivery method best suits a given project, it is important to first recognize and evaluate the impact of modern construction problems that may exist.
