Steve Oldroyd leads the BDO USA LLP Western Region’s Sales and Use Tax, and Property Tax Consulting Practices. He has more than 25 years of experience in state and local taxation and previously worked for the California State Board of Equalization for 10 years as a senior tax auditor in Silicon Valley. Steve is an instructor for the board’s audit staff sales tax continuing education training and update classes. Steve has worked several years in industry and public accounting, holding positions equivalent to director of state and local taxes. His past management experience includes a large specialty retailer, a Fortune 100 computer manufacturer and a Big Four accounting firm.
