Phillip Hudson, III
Partner at Arnstein & Lehr
Miami, Florida
I am a partner resident in the Miami office of Arnstein & Lehr LLP and have been a commercial litigator and bankruptcy and insolvency specialist since 1985. My law practice serves clients nationwide.
In my practice, I have successfully represented – and continue to represent – all types of participants in federal and state bankruptcy and insolvency matters. These matters include financially troubled companies, unsecured creditors, secured creditors, creditors’ committees, and governmental agencies, such as the Government Development Bank of Puerto Rico. My involvement comprises numerous and significant out-of-court workouts and bankruptcy reorganization cases handling high profile matters; a few of these are complex securitized lending transactions, industrial and government development bond restructuring, and the reorganization of both public and private corporations.

Furthermore, I maintain a substantial complex litigation practice representing clients in federal and state courts throughout the country in diverse commercial matters, e.g., ADA defense, shareholder disputes, fraud cases and general commercial disputes. Recently, I have handled complex, first impression priority disputes involving mortgage lenders and community development districts and bonds in Florida.
In addition to my heavy emphasis in the bankruptcy, insolvency and commercial arenas, I also have extensive experience in the following industries: aviation, banking, firearms, gaming, hospitality and publishing. I represent fiduciaries of all types, including bankruptcy trustees, federal and state court receivers, and assignees for the benefit of the creditors. Plus, I maintain a large outside general counsel practice.
