Michael L. Gesas is managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. As a managing partner, Mr. Gesas is responsible for directly coordinating and supervising attorneys to ensure the firm’s services support client goals and initiatives. His practice focuses on bankruptcy law in Illinois and Chapter 11 representation in the State of Delaware. Mr. Gesas represents creditors and commercial debtors in corporate and business reorganizations. His practice includes liquidation proceedings, compositions, assignments for the benefit of creditors, asset acquisitions and sales through the bankruptcy court and other forums, workouts, contract negotiations and related commercial representation and litigation.
