Larry Woodard is a Senior Attorney with the real estate practice group of Miller Canfield in the Chicago office. His practice emphasis in all areas of real estate law, including commercial real estate transactions, real estate development, real estate based lending, loan workouts, foreclosures, construction law and mechanics liens. He assists clients in assembling due diligence teams.
He represents or has been adverse to many of the country’s largest retailers and is a noted speaker and writer on a variety of real estate topics.
He recently completed one of the largest privately financed transactions in the history of the State of Ohio. Larry is publishing a treatise on reciprocal easement agreements and vertical subdivisions.
Larry is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the American and Illinois State Bar Associations. He holds a J.D., LL.M. and B.S. degrees in real estate, University of Illinois and The John Marshall Law School.
