John is the Vice President of AECOM in the Denver, Colorado office. He has more than 40 years of consulting engineering practice, specializing in dams and water storage structures. Johnis a member of the senior technical review boards and panels for dam engineering projects for such organizations as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Bureau of Reclamation, BC Hydro and Brookfield Renewable Energy. He has extensive experience in dam safety risk analysis. John is a dam inspector for numerous organizations, including the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Denver Water and Colorado Springs Utilities. Also an Instructor of dam safety courses for the Association of State Dam Safety Officials. He is also D.GE from the Academy of Water Resources Engineers along with D.WRE from the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers. John wrote more than 75 publications in dam engineering, and speaker at national conferences of ASDSO and the United States Society on Dams. John was awarded the West Region Award of Merit from ASDSO and President’s Award from ASDSO. John is the past chairman of the ASDSO Affiliate Member Advisory Committee and past vice president and member of the board of directors of USSD and past member of the National Dam Safety Review Board.
