Mr. Gekas is also an experienced appellate advocate, taking over as post-trial counsel for clients in both state and federal appeals courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Gekas is the Immediate Past President of the board of directors for HOW, an organization dedicated to permanent solutions for poverty and homelessness. Prior to joining Arnstein & Lehr, he founded his own litigation firm, Gekas Law LLP. Mr. Gekas was also previously a litigator in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
