I am a results oriented problem solver as an attorney and businessman.. My legal experience is broad based with a current practice specializing in the representation of corporations, high net worth individuals and financial institutions with respect to real estate transactions, development and leasing; corporate formation and operating issues; trusts, estate administration and elder law; and commercial lending, including asset-based lending, letters of credit, mortgage lending and workouts. Prior to specializing in transactional matters, I litigated commercial cases, winning two cases in the Illinois Supreme Court. My transactional and litigation experience enables me to serve as a trusted advisor and advocate, rendering cost effective legal services. In addition, I have utilized my expertise teaching real estate drafting at Chicago Kent Law School and serving as an expert witness in litigation proceedings.
