J. Paul Varner is the Tax practice group leader of the Butler Snow LLP law firm practicing in its greater Jackson office. He practices in tax planning, tax dispute resolution, and state and local taxation. Paul is a Member of the State and Local Tax Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation. He is a Mississippi legal correspondent for State Tax Notes and Council on State Taxation.
Paul has more than 25 years of experience in handling disputes involving various types of Mississippi taxes. He also holds a Mississippi CPA license.
