Mr. Hoag conducts regular seminars, workshops and technical training classes in the use of plants for streambank stabilization and riparian zone establishment and has presented over 50 technical lectures at conferences and symposia all over the United States, Canada and Afghanistan. He is also a writer of over 100 technical papers, reports and how-to guides on riparian and wetland subjects including streambank soil bioengineering techniques, establishment methods for riparian woody and herbaceous plant species, management of riparian and wetland plant communities, and methods to improve fish and wildlife habitat in riparian and wetland areas.
