Prior to True Synergy, Gena spent 20 years in marketing and has created corporate branding strategies, marketing communications campaigns and public relations messages for a variety of companies, including The Walt Disney Company, Fox Entertainment Group, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures Entertainment, Coca-Cola, and The Los Angeles World Airports just to name a few.
Gena developed her own resilient qualities through years of struggle to build her own personal brand, positive self-image, confidence and success as a leader in her own right. After years in corporate marketing, and after owning her own successful marketing communications agency, Gena decided to take all her knowledge, experience and lessons learned to transition and launched True Synergy, a full-service professional and organizational development practice in 2010. Gena uses her extensive skills in marketing to help organizations develop internal branding strategies and help individuals manage and leverage their personal brand.
Gena is a graduate of the University of Southern California, with a BA in Communication Arts & Sciences, and has a MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. She is a board-certified coach (BCC) and member of the Board-Certified Coach Inaugural Circle. Gena received her coaching training and certification from the Certified Coach Federation (CCF). She is a DiSC certified trainer, has a certificate in Spiritual Psychology from University of Santa Monica (USM) and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Psychology degree in Organization Development from the California School for Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Fresno, California campus.
