Donald Benson is a Partner in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. where his practice represents management clients in the avoidance, resolution and litigating of employment disputes, as well as focuses on drafting and enforcing restrictive covenants, wage and hour compliance defense, and communicable diseases in the workplace.
Donald is a frequent national speaker and writer on communicable disease issues in the workplace, including pandemic planning, H1N1 (swine flu), H5N1 (avian flu), tuberculosis and MRSA staph infections.
Donald has been quoted in USAToday, ABC News, Employment Law 360, Mondaq and the Human Resources Report of BNA, Inc., on recent MRSA staph infection outbreaks and employer's efforts to prevent and respond to such workplace crises in compliance with the privacy, leave and discrimination law issues facing employers. Donald also lectures and writes on pandemic issues for a variety of associations. He previously was a member for 16 years of a labor management law firm in Atlanta.
