Mr. Waxman is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group at Arnstein & Lehr where he has practiced since 1985. He devotes a substantial portion of his time to health care and medical liability litigation and the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. He also has significant experience in commercial litigation. Mr. Waxman has tried cases in both state and federal courts, including complex mass tort multi-district litigation. He has also served as investigative counsel for clients on issues such as the citing of a nuclear waste facility and the discovery of Medicare abuse.
Mr. Waxman has defended the manufacturers of generic pharmaceuticals, including antibiotics and antiepileptics, and medical devices, including cold therapy, bariatric lifts, spinal neurostimulators, contact lens solution, blood products, ophthalmologic lasers, surgical lasers, rolling walkers, detergent, hip implants, weight machines and implanted birth control.
