David A. Golin is a partner in Arnstein & Lehr’s Chicago office. His practice focuses primarily on: (a) commercial bankruptcy and insolvency matters, representing both debtors and creditors, (b) commercial real estate foreclosures and workouts, and (c) real estate title disputes. He has extensive experience representing financially distressed businesses in loan restructurings, workouts, Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, and assignments for the benefit of creditors. He has substantial experience representing secured lenders, landlords, equipment lessors, and other creditors in defending and pursuing their claims against debtors. He also has considerable experience representing purchasers of assets out of a bankruptcy estate or from an assignee. Mr. Golin represents banks in mortgage foreclosure proceedings and real estate workouts, often involving complicated title issues. Mr. Golin represents owners of real property and mortgage lenders against adverse claims, defending the owner’s title and the validity and priority of the mortgagee’s liens.
