As a practicing architect, he was involved in all phases of the design and construction of commercial and residential projects throughout the U.S. and Asia. In addition to designing various building types, including resort hotels, convention centers, and sports arenas, he performed on-site construction administration services for projects such as a large-scale, mixed-use project in Colombo, Sri Lanka and a 44-unit hillside townhouse development in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Clark is a member of the ABA and the American Institute of Architects and is the former chair of the planning commission for the city of Piedmont, California.
