Brett is the Senior Vice President of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and the Northeast Region, serves as a pivotal member of the global management team at G4S. He is responsible for leading the Northeast Region and SIU Division while fostering close working relationships with operations and sales and to ensure G4S solutions are aligned with client needs and market demand. Brett established G4S’ Investigation Consulting Program to successfully bring together adjusters and expert investigators to provide guidance to clients regarding fraud mitigation strategies and the business impact of current and future trends and schemes which have resulted in more than255 Arrests, 165 Convictions and over $4.1 million in criminal restitution. He is also responsible for the implementation and oversight of national SIU programs with more than $40M in revenue annually and under his leadership and direction G4S’ SIU team has received numerous accolades for proactive fraud fighting. Brett led the effort to develop the company’s breakthrough Absence Management/Leave of Absence Investigation Program that is redefining the FMLA investigation marketplace.

Brett is an accredited instructor, author and speaker in the arena of special investigations and anti-fraud awareness and prior to G4S Douglas had 20 years of experience in the investigations industry, spanning operations, consulting and sales across North America. Brett holds the following designations: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) – Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI) – IASIU, Northern California Fraud Investigator’s Association (NCFIA), California Licensed Private Investigator, Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals.
