Anta is the Associate General Counsel of NYU Langone medical center. She enjoys advising wealthy individuals on the development and implementation of tax-efficient vehicles for the transfer of wealth, complex estate and trust administration issues, charitable planning strategies, and the formation and administration of tax-exempt organizations. She is a member of Akin Gump’s New York Pro Bono Committee and New York Diversity Committee, and a director of the firm’s Wills Pro Bono Clinic. Anta has also spoken and written on topics related to her areas of expertise. She has received the Volunteer Appreciation Award by The Children’s Law Center, 2010 for her commitment to pro bono work, as well as the Legal Aid Society Pro Bono Service Award for her work on behalf of children in dependency and neglect proceedings in Kings County Family Court of New York, 2006 to 2007.
