Allan Goldberg is of counsel for the Condominium & Community Association Practice Group, which he formerly co-chaired, at Arnstein & Lehr. He also is the former co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group (2000-2013). He concentrates his practice in the real estate area, specializing in real estate development, real estate litigation, condominium and community association law, lender representation, directors and officers liability defense litigation, and affordable housing matters on behalf of for profit and nonprofit developers and condominium converters. He regularly handles a wide range of issues on behalf of condominium and other community associations, which involves the representation of more than 500 community associations. In the area of lender representation, Mr. Goldberg is experienced in counseling major financial institutions with the structuring and implementation of complex commercial loan facilities, debt workouts, and restructurings. He also has served as an adjunct professor of law for the LLM Real Estate Law Program of John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
