Vermont CPE Requirements
To keep their licensing valid, CPAs in Vermont must complete 80 CPE credits every two-year reporting period. Reporting periods begin August 1 and end July 31st. Of the required 80 credit hours, 4.0 must cover a topic related to professional ethics, including the AICPA Code of Conduct or Vermont accountancy statutes and rules. As well, all licensees must complete a minimum 8.0 hours of training in accounting and auditing.
