MCLE Requirement:
15 hours per reporting period (1 year for attorneys licensed two years or more. Initial compliance period for newly licensed attorneys is two years.)
Deadline: Last day of birth month
Special Requirement(s):
3 hours of Legal Ethics or professional responsibility
Reporting date:
Last day of birth month
Compliance group: Varies by birth month. Attorneys must report annually
Credit hour:
60 minutes. Divide the total length of the program in minutes by 60 and round to the nearest 1/4.
Limit on credit hours for self-study:
There are no limits or caps on the amount of credit you can earn through Lorman Education Services Live webinars or ondemand courses.
Lorman Education Services Certificates:
Certificates of attendance for Live webinars are available to download in the Courses section of your account dashboard within a couple business days after the course date. An email is sent to notify you that the certificate is available to download. Ondemand certificates are available to download in the Courses section of your account dashboard within 15 minutes.
Attendance Reporting:
Lorman Education Services reports your credits to the State Bar of Texas, provided you have requested the credit and provided your bar number.
