MCLE Requirement:
12 hours per reporting period (1 year) Special Requirement(s):
2 hours of legal ethics
Reporting date - Varies by compliance date:
Group I - May 1 through April 30 every year
Group II - September 1 through August 31 every year
Group III - January 1 through December 31 every year
Credit hour:
60 minutes. Divide the total length of the program in minutes by 60 and round down to the nearest half.
Limit on credit hours for Distance Learning:
Lorman Education Services hosts live webinars and on-demand courses which are considered "Distance Learning" courses in PA. There are no limits in terms of hours earned for the live webinar format however, attorneys completing on-demand courses can receive a maximum of 6.0 hours per year in this format.
Lorman Education Services Certificates:
Certificates of attendance for Live webinars are available to download in the Courses section of your account dashboard within 2-3 business days after the course date. An email is sent to notify you that the certificate is available to download. Ondemand certificates are available to download in the Courses section of your account dashboard within 15 minutes of course completion.
Attendance Reporting:
Lorman Education Services will report the PA CLE credit you earn as long as you request the credit and provide your bar number. This applies to live webinars as well as on-demand courses.
