IA MCLE Requirement:
15 hours per reporting period (1 Year)Deadline: December 31
Special Requirement(s):
Starting in calendar year 2021, Iowa Court Rule 41.3(2) requires attorneys to now take: 1 hour of legal ethics, and 1 hour in Attorney Wellness CLE, or Diversity and Inclusion.
Reporting date:
March 10
Credit hour:
60 minutes. To calculate credit for a specific program, divide the total length of the program in minutes by 60 and round down to the nearest quarter hour.
Limit on credit hours for self-study:
As of January 2022, the cap for unmoderated (live webinars, and Ondemand courses), has been removed.
Lorman Education Services Certificates:
Certificates of attendance for Live webinars are available to download in the Courses section of your account dashboard within a couple business days after the course date. An email is sent to notify you that the certificate is available to download. Ondemand certificates are available to download in the Courses section of your account dashboard within 15 minutes.
Attendance Reporting:
Lorman Education Services does not report your participation. Attorneys must self-report if applicable.
