MCLE Requirement:
30 hours per reporting period (2 years)
Deadline: June 30
Special Requirement(s):
6 hours must be in the area of professional responsibility. This includes professionalism, diversity issues, mental illness and addiction issues, civility, or legal ethics. Out of the 6 required professional responsibility credits - 1 must be in diversity and inclusion and one in mental health or substance abuse.
Reporting date
July 31 - There are 2 compliance groups: attorneys with last names beginning A through M are required to report in even-numbered years and attorneys with last names beginning N through Z are required to report in odd-numbered years.
Credit hour:
60 minutes. Divide the total length of the program in minutes by 60 and round down to the nearest quarter hour.
Lorman Education Services Credit Formats:
Lorman Education Services Education Services is approved for the following formats: Faculty in room with participants, Live-Technology and Recorded Technology
Lorman Education Services Certificates:
Certificates of attendance for Live webinars are available to download in the Courses section of your account dashboard within a couple of business days after the course date. An email is sent to notify you that the certificate is available to download. Ondemand certificates are available to download in the Courses section of your account dashboard within 15 minutes.
Attendance Reporting:
Attorneys are responsible for reporting their CLE each compliance to the State Bar as needed. Lorman Education Services cannot report your IL MCLE.
