State CPE Requirements At-a-Glance
Here’s what you need to know to meet your Mississippi CPE requirements and keep your registration with the State Board of Public Accountancy valid:
- Licensed accountants must complete a minimum 40 credit hours of approved CPE each year
- 4 hours in Ethics, Professional Conduct and Public Accountancy Law and Regulations is required. This includes at least one (1) ethics CPE hour of the four exclusively in Mississippi Public Accountancy Law and Regulations
- No more than 20 credit hours can be carried forward each year
- Annual reporting is done online, and due by August 1 of each year
